Activities and Services at SPACE

 

SPACE runs an activity center for spastic individuals with the help of special educators, therapists, social workers and a dedicated team of parents and helpers. The objective of this workshop is to improve confidence in the disabled individuals through various activities stimulating mind & body functions.

 

• Counseling and assessment of the degree of disability with the help of the experts.

• Developmental and recreational activities - cultural events involving skits, dance, music and picnics to nearby places.

• Practical training in simple occupations - making paper bags and gift envelopes for the students to sell and generate their own income.

• drawing and painting to improve motor skills.

• Yoga and music training for concentration and strength.

• Training and counseling to the parents and caregivers of spastic individuals​
